2014 Fiesta ST with a rebuilt title due to ... flooding.
Car came out of Houston. There is a picture of the water line in the ad.

End of the day though, $10,975: NP or CP?

Kinja'd!!!

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

Cloth seats, 72k miles combined with the rebuilt title has me not feeling 100% about $10,975. I’m not saying total CP, but drop it a couple grand and it’s NP all day.

CP. Only $3k more will net one with similar miles and a clean title easily

I’d go so far as to say with fewer miles and clean title

Lmao huge CP. These sell for like $5k off sticker near me. Rather spend a few months saving and then get a brand new one or a used one that isn’t a hurricane survivor.

Crack pipe. A rebuilt title and about 20,000 more miles than comparable cars for what $2,000 or so in savings? That’s not enough.

Guy buys flooded FiST, discovers gremlins of flood damaged car aren’t worth the headache, tries to sell at a premium for what it is.

Too bad, it’s a cool car.

I’ve seen savage title FOSTs go for not much more than that. With less miles.

CP

Maybe at half he price. Like others have said these are easily in the 12–15k range used.

CP, and I say that as someone who had their Civic totalled by Hurricane Matthew. Even if the flood damage is minor, good luck insuring it. I’m still in the process of getting a rebuilt title, and once I do I’m going to give away the car because it’s not worth the effort to sell.

Oh, it had better be indestinguishable from original for that money. You can get one for $12,887 factory certified at 400 miles away. I’d take the trip...

The last person who bought a new off the lot 2016 that I was privy to bought it for something around $16k, because the dealers wanted them gone. This was last year as they were moving them out.

72k miles combined + rebuilt title for 11k is not crack pipe, it’s bath salts.

I’ve seen them sell around me with less miles and clean titles for around $13,000-$14,000. Knowing how much a rebuilt title eviscerates resale value, it’d be a hard pass for me.

I’d be in at around $6,000 at the most. Maybe $6,500 if it had the Recaro seats. But that’s just me. Heck, maybe I should offer the guy $6k, would make a fine daily driver if there’s no mold in it.

Probably CP, but for a car flooded in Houston, that water line isn’t that high compared to many of the cars that got flooded here.
